Position Summary:
We invite you to join our dynamic team at Spire Global as a Senior Engineer specializing in RF, mixed-signal, and analog integrated circuit design. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in the development of an innovative massive beamforming receiver, focusing on achieving exceptional performance while minimizing power usage. This position presents a unique chance to contribute to technological progress in satellite safety systems for essential infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of RF mixed-signal electronics for a state-of-the-art massive beamforming receiver.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to establish system requirements and architecture.
- Guide architectural decisions and provide technical expertise in advanced RF technologies.
- Conduct analysis, simulation, and characterization of RF circuits to enhance performance metrics.
- Plan and execute qualification testing for the receiver.
- Stay informed on the latest advancements in RF technology and contribute innovative concepts.
Qualifications and Experience:
- PhD or MS in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in RF and mixed-signal design is preferred.
- Extensive experience in RF, mixed-signal, and analog IC design, with a solid background in various RF blocks and circuits.
- Demonstrated success in delivering intricate RF designs from initial concept through to production.
- Experience in low-power and ultra-low voltage design methodologies.
- Proficient in RF simulation tools and testing apparatus.
- Data-driven approach to work processes.
Additional Desired Skills:
- Familiarity with RF system architectures and beamforming methodologies.
- Experience with high-speed ADCs and FPGA technologies.
- Proficiency in scripting languages and automation techniques.
Work Environment:
This role at Spire Global operates under a hybrid work model, necessitating a minimum of three days per week in the office. Access to US export-controlled software and/or technology may be required.
