Data Science Intern in Healthcare

- Development of R Shiny Applications: Create interactive applications for diverse data science tasks within the healthcare sector.
- Data Processing and Analysis: Engage in hands-on processing and analysis of complex clinical datasets, including biomarkers and gene expression data.
- Support for Data Science Initiatives: Assist in various Data Science projects and contribute to both clinical and non-clinical development across all phases of studies.
- Subgroup Identification: Utilize techniques such as cluster analysis and principal component analysis to identify relevant subgroups.
- Statistical Programming: Write and develop reusable programs, including functions and macros, for data visualization and output generation.
- R Package Development: Create R packages for specific analyses, such as subgroup analysis or cutoff determination.
- Educational Background: Currently pursuing studies in statistics, mathematics, data science, or a related field.
- Statistical Knowledge: Familiarity with both basic and advanced statistical methods, including hypothesis testing and multivariate analysis.
- Programming Skills: Proficient in R programming, with experience in developing R packages considered a plus.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities and a quick learning aptitude.
- Attention to Detail: A precise and meticulous approach to work.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team and demonstrate a high level of initiative.
- Language Proficiency: Good command of English; knowledge of German is advantageous.
- Availability: As a working student, you can commit to up to 20 hours per week, with flexible scheduling options.
