Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and interpret business needs and requirements
  • Formulate and implement category strategies
  • Oversee procurement of materials and services for corporate functions
  • Generate value through category and supplier management across the organization, focusing on cost reduction
  • Lead procurement initiatives aimed at cost efficiency
  • Contribute to the development of purchasing strategies
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on specifications, bids, and tenders
  • Support procurement management and supplier relations
  • Manage daily procurement operations
  • Address operational challenges and ensure prompt order fulfillment

Required Skills and Knowledge:

  • At least 5 years of experience in strategic procurement
  • Expertise in procurement processes, including stakeholder engagement
  • Familiarity with purchasing systems such as SAP and strong collaborative skills
  • Thorough understanding of procurement procedures
  • Knowledge of commercial law and legal principles
  • Strong communication skills and work ethic
  • Aptitude for building relationships at all organizational levels

Education and Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree from a business school or university with a minimum of 5 years of higher education

Language Proficiency:

  • Fluency in English and German is required
