About the Role

In this position, you will be part of our purchasing team and primarily responsible for procurement in the control technology sector.

Your Responsibilities

  • Market observation and analysis, including risk management, as well as the design and optimization of procurement activities.
  • Selection, evaluation, and development of suppliers.
  • Obtaining quotes for prototypes, pre-series, and series parts, materials, and tools, as well as conducting and concluding price and contract negotiations with suppliers.
  • Design and optimization of procurement activities.
  • Development and implementation of cost reduction programs and logistics concepts.
  • Creation and presentation of reports.
  • Contract management and accounting clarification.
  • Accompanying and conducting audits.
  • Support and consulting of departments (e.g. sales, development, quality assurance) from a purchasing perspective.

Your Profile

  • You hold a completed degree in economics or a comparable field, have a high technical affinity, and ideally already have professional experience in purchasing.
  • You are familiar with commercial and legal matters.
  • Your communication skills, your negotiation and assertiveness, your conflict resolution skills, and your team spirit make you stand out.
  • You are familiar with ERP systems (preferably IFS) and MS Office applications.
  • You communicate confidently in German and English.
