Overview
We are seeking a skilled Technical Editor for Optronic Systems (f/m/d) to join our Engineering Lifecycle Support department. The successful candidate will be based at our Oberkochen site, Aalen branch.Our team is dedicated to producing and maintaining high-quality technical documentation, spare parts catalogs, customer training materials, and managing lifecycle and obsolescence processes in line with international standards and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
Develop technical and logistical documentation, including visual aids (digital and interactive formats) for optronic products, adhering to both national and international standards. Gather and manage information from design and production documents, as well as existing hardware and software. Oversee externally contracted work packages with national and international partners. Coordinate independently and promptly with development teams and both internal and external stakeholders. Create user and service manuals for software products. Establish, maintain, and update spare parts catalogs (including codification) for optronic systems in compliance with relevant standards.Candidate Profile
A degree in engineering, particularly in electrical fine mechanics, technical editing, or a related field. Relevant professional experience in a similar role. Proficient in Office applications and at least one XML-based editing tool. Familiarity with graphic design software, as well as strong SAP and database skills. Understanding of national and international standards for technical documentation. Enthusiasm for emerging media and technologies. Strong analytical and holistic thinking abilities. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset. A self-motivated, organized, and dependable work ethic. Proficient in German and highly competent in English.What We Offer
