About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Project Manager to lead the implementation of large-scale carbon capture plants at industrial sites and power plants across Europe. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for contract and claim management, including setting up commercial specifications, tendering, evaluation, negotiation, and finalization of contracts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contract and claim management, including setting up commercial specifications, tendering, evaluation, negotiation, and finalization of contracts
  • Dealing with standardized international supply contracts and different national laws
  • Being the process link between the project and E.ON's central procurement department in Essen and the project management/business
  • Ongoing controlling and reporting of project budgets, plus continuous risk management
  • Carrying out the pre-qualification of suppliers and service providers to ensure compliance with requirements and standards
Requirements
  • Several years of experience in commercial project and contract management for process plant construction, energy industry, or related sectors
  • Written and spoken English and German fluency (at least B2 level)
  • User knowledge of SAP BI and SAP Materials Management, as well as very good MS Office skills, especially Excel
