Site Reliability Engineer

As a Site Reliability Engineer/DevOps Architect, you will be instrumental in shaping the technical framework and deploying software solutions for our infrastructure and services.
Your collaboration with developers, fellow DevOps professionals, and release management teams will be vital to ensure that code is deployed reliably and efficiently.
You will take initiative and critically assess deployment strategies.

Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with developers to foster shared ownership and minimize organizational barriers
- Establish and execute release management processes
- Develop Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Service Level Indicators (SLIs) from the ground up
- Identify automation opportunities and drive initiatives to enhance efficiency
- Design, implement, and maintain a robust Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline utilizing modern tools such as Jenkins, TeamCity, and GitHub Actions
- Oversee the operation and upkeep of applications, with a focus on monitoring, alerting, logging, and security
- Develop and maintain cloud security protocols and integrate security services
- Implement comprehensive patch management across all infrastructure and technology stacks
- Set up automated testing and deployment processes
- Experience as a Senior member or Team Tech Lead in a DevOps role
- Proven track record of mentoring junior engineers
- Proficiency in high-level programming languages such as Typescript, Go, or Python
- Experience managing Linux environments
- Hands-on knowledge of databases or search technologies like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or ElasticSearch
- Familiarity with containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes
- Understanding of DevOps principles, practices, and tools
- Experience with automation tools such as Terraform or Ansible
- Familiarity with cloud service providers like AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Prior experience in the blockchain industry is a plus
- Strong understanding of architecture, deployment methodologies, and monitoring solutions
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or Mesos
- Knowledge of cloud storage solutions such as S3, EFS, or Azure Blobs
