About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer to join our Development Department at Aeromaritime. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software applications for communication systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop applications for line switching in communication systems using various data transport techniques.
  • Develop and port applications using modern software design methods and tools.
  • Create user-friendly graphical user interfaces for applications.
  • Specify, conceive, realize, test, and document complete project packages from development to system integration and series release.
  • Plan and coordinate work packages with project teams.
  • Develop test plans and procedures, and verify developed components.
  • Implement studies and tests according to specifications.
Requirements
  • Completed studies in electrical engineering, communications engineering, information technology, computer science, or a comparable field.
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages C/C++ and common programming tools.
  • Understanding of communication protocols for transmitting circuit-switched (E1, ATM) and packet-switched (IP) data.
  • Experience with modern software engineering methods and processes.
  • Familiarity with UML and tools like Rhapsody.
  • Team-oriented mindset and strong service orientation.
  • Excellent written and spoken German and good English skills.
