About the Role
FLOCERT is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Planning & Stakeholder Service Officer to join our team. As a key member of our Operations Department, you will be responsible for supporting the Stakeholder Service Unit and ensuring the smooth operation of our certification processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure data quality and accuracy of Fairtrade certification related data
- Support the collation of information for the operations department budget
- Assist with preparing capacity planning and implementing corrective measures after internal audits
- Manage and retain relationships with stakeholders, including national Fairtrade organizations, Fairtrade International, and producer networks
- Ensure consistent and harmonized communication between stakeholders and different departments within FLOCERT
- Continuously improve FLOCERT's services for stakeholders
- Connect and network with stakeholders at meetings and international events
Requirements
- University level education in a relevant subject, such as Food Science, Business, Agronomy, Economics, or Environmental Science
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in dealing with multiple international stakeholders
- Experience with customer relationship building and stakeholder engagement
- Familiarity with the stakeholder environment within the Fairtrade International movement
- Aptitude to analyze and work with numbers, with the ability to correlate data from multiple sources
- High command in the use of relevant tools and methodologies, such as Power BI and MS Office products
- Fluency in English oral and written
- Additional language skills in any of the following languages would be supportive: Spanish, German, French, Italian, or Scandinavian language/Dutch
- Reliable and detail-oriented working attitude
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills, multicultural sensitivity, customer orientation, and precise working style
- Ability to work independently and cope with pressure from a diverse group of stakeholders
