Job Description:

Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer to join our team at Optimus Search. As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and efficient software systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop software systems using Java and related technologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and efficiency
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience as a hands-on architect and software engineer
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Leadership experience in creating, deploying, and delivering excellent software
  • Proficiency in Java EE, including Web Services, REST, and JPA
  • Experience with database management systems, including SQL server, Oracle, and MySQL
  • Knowledge of Spring, Hibernate, and SOA, EDA, and Design patterns
  • Cloud computing architecting experience
  • Proficiency in Linux and DevOps
  • Experience with Hadoop, MVVC, Apache Spark, or other big data technologies is a plus
