Software Architect Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Architect to join our AVIATAR team at Lufthansa Technik AG. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our software products and platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain our existing AVIATAR products and associated platforms to support airline technical operations.
  • Work with technologies like Kotlin, Java, Typescript, Spring, Angular, Kafka, OpenShift/Kubernetes, SQL/No-SQL databases, and Azure.
  • Ensure high-performance architecture and optimize system efficiency.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across departments and contribute to shaping our agile work environment.
Requirements:
  • Completed university or technical college degree in a relevant subject (computer science, business informatics, or technical informatics) or equivalent qualifications.
  • Experience in developing Software as a Service products throughout the entire product life cycle.
  • Knowledge of current technologies and methods in software development, preferably in databases, ETL, cloud, APIs, containerization, test automation, or continuous delivery.
  • Experience in agile software development based on Scrum and Kanban.
