Senior Java Fullstack Developer

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Fullstack Developer to join our dynamic team at Dabster. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in software development, particularly in Java and related technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate extensive hands-on programming expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
  • Exhibit proficiency in front-end technologies including Angular, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Possess a solid understanding of Microservices architecture and RESTful services.
  • Showcase strong web development capabilities.
  • Implement Secure Software Development Life Cycle (SSDLC) practices.
  • Engage in Agile methodologies to enhance project delivery.
  • Contribute to solution design and architecture discussions.
  • Propose and advocate for alternative design solutions to stakeholders.
  • Utilize build tools such as Maven, Ant, or Gradle effectively.
  • Leverage JavaScript libraries like Enzyme or Jest, with familiarity in SCSS being advantageous.
  • Maintain hands-on experience with databases, particularly PostgreSQL.
  • Utilize static analysis tools such as SonarQube and Checkmarx, along with JMS technologies like MQ/Solace.
  • Familiarize with DEVOPS processes, including Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).
  • Understand user interface frameworks and application servers.
  • Navigate the full software development lifecycle proficiently.
  • Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Maintain a positive, goal-oriented attitude focused on successful delivery.
  • Possess knowledge of cloud computing and Docker containers, which is a plus.
  • Experience in the financial sector is advantageous.
  • Demonstrate experience in leading teams in an onsite-offshore model.
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure functionality and quality standards are met.
  • Facilitate the creation of user stories and task assignments, ensuring timely completion.
  • Engage in triaging discussions with customers, offshore teams, and other stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in the German language, both verbal and written.
  • Experience or knowledge in RFID applications.
