Focus on Digital Experience
The Digital Experience tribe is dedicated to enhancing customer interactions across our digital platforms. The Corporate Bank Portal is envisioned as the future ecosystem where clients can fulfill all their needs through a single, integrated platform, and this is the experience we are crafting within our tribe.
As a Senior Frontend Architect, you will be instrumental in defining the visual and interactive components of our sophisticated web applications. You will collaborate with a team of full-stack developers, working closely with UX/UI designers, backend developers, and project managers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and innovative frontend solutions.
Your Primary Responsibilities
- Engage with senior technical leadership to discuss team workflows, high-level technical implementations, and analyze software engineering metrics.
- Independently draft technical specifications and implement new features in our web application using React, managing relationships with backend developers, other frontend developers, and API design as necessary.
- Communicate daily with the Design team to ensure a robust and accessible user experience.
- Participate in design discussions regarding the future direction of the application and platform.
- As a lead architect, contribute to ongoing efforts to enhance code quality, explore new technologies, mentor junior team members, and implement best practices in the software development lifecycle.
- Expertise in semantic HTML, modern CSS, and awareness of common security vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10).
- Demonstrated experience of 5+ years in modern frontend development principles, with knowledge of additional libraries (Vue, Svelte, Remix, Next.js) considered a plus.
- Advanced JavaScript skills (both vanilla and DOM), with proficiency in TypeScript required.
- Experience with asynchronous programming and a solid understanding of web networking and cryptographic principles.
- Familiarity with Web Accessibility standards (i.e., WCAG 2.x specifications).
- Contributions to open-source projects or active involvement in the frontend community are highly regarded.
- Experience in leading small to medium-sized engineering teams is advantageous.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Understanding of UX/UI design principles and collaboration with design teams.
