Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Authorization Manager to join our team at Siemens Mobility GmbH. As a key member of our international team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with European regulations and national requirements for our railway vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain a comprehensive evidence management system to ensure conformity with regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate verification deliveries and support expert discussions to ensure timely compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, authorization management, technical management, and project management, to implement the 4th European Railway package.
- Support the interface between variant management and configuration management for vehicle type definition.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as electrotechnical engineering, software engineering, or industrial engineering.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in authorization, engineering, or project management for railway vehicles.
- Proficiency in German and English languages, with additional language skills a plus.
- Knowledge of the 4th European Railway package and experience with verification processes an advantage.
