Senior Manager S/4HANA Expert

As a Senior Manager S/4HANA, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial consolidation processes at Fresenius Digital Technology. This position offers the opportunity to manage high-impact projects and collaborate with diverse teams across the globe. Leverage your expertise in SAP S/4HANA to drive improvements and ensure compliance with global financial standards.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all consolidation activities across Fresenius SE, Fresenius Kabi, and Helios business segments.
  • Lead updates and changes for Month End Closing (MEC), Quarter End Closing (QEC), and Year End Closing (YEC) to ensure timely completion.
  • Collaborate with business segments and external parties to execute consolidation activities within required timeframes.
  • Oversee the design and architecture of SAP S/4HANA consolidation solutions, ensuring they meet business needs for financial consolidation and reporting.
  • Implement and configure S/4HANA Group Reporting, aligning with global consolidation requirements, including intercompany eliminations and currency translations.
  • Lead data mapping, migration, and validation to ensure accurate consolidation data from subsidiaries and business units.
  • Act as a subject matter expert during S/4HANA projects, leading workshops and guiding teams through complex decision-making processes.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies in financial consolidation using S/4HANA best practices.
  • Ensure seamless integration of consolidation processes with other SAP modules and non-SAP systems.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in tax-related SAP implementations, including significant experience with S/4 HANA.
  • Extensive experience in designing and implementing tax solutions within SAP S/4 HANA.
  • Strong knowledge of direct and indirect tax requirements and compliance.
  • Familiarity with SAP Cloud tools and region-specific tools like tax engines or Mastersaf.
  • Proven track record in managing end-to-end implementation projects, including configuration, testing, and go-live support.
  • SAP Certified, with prior experience within the Life Sciences domain.
  • Expertise in managing geographical teams and complex interdependencies across multiple workstreams.
  • Understanding of integration points and dependencies between SAP modules and other enterprise systems.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, German skills are a plus.
