The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our development team as Director of Development for Spain and Portugal. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Identifying new business opportunities for Motel One and Cloud One Hotel brands in Spain and Portugal, including partnerships with property owners, developers, and investors.
- Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including property experts and business partners, to drive growth and expansion.
- Analyzing and negotiating new development and conversion opportunities to ensure alignment with our business strategy.
- Representing the company externally as a brand ambassador, promoting our values and vision to key stakeholders.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Relevant experience in the Spanish property market, including experience as a developer, consultant, or with a hotel group.
- A strong network of contacts in the property sector, including property owners, developers, and investors.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to win over decision-makers and secure new business opportunities.
- A can-do attitude, with a strong drive to deliver results and grow our business.
