Assistant Director of Groups and Conferences

Established in 1999, Lost and Found Personalberatung & Vermittlung is a renowned recruitment agency for the hospitality industry and other sectors. We specialize in finding and selecting top talent for various roles within the industry.
The Assistant Director of Groups and Conferences will play a crucial role in developing and implementing strategies to achieve revenue targets for the Groups, Conference & Events department. This includes managing a team to ensure that all events are executed to the highest standards, working closely with the Director of Groups, Conference & Events and Director of Sales & Business Development to execute sales strategies, and ensuring that all groups and events inquiries are being responded to and executed within budget and to the satisfaction of the clients.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategies to achieve revenue targets for the Groups, Conference & Events department.
- Manage a team to ensure that all events are executed to the highest standards.
- Work closely with the Director of Groups, Conference & Events and Director of Sales & Business Development to execute sales strategies.
- Ensure that all groups and events inquiries are being responded to and executed within budget and to the satisfaction of the clients.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders in the hotel and organization.
- Ensure that all events are executed in compliance with local regulations and company policies.
- Represent and lead the Groups, Conference & Events team in the absence of the Director.
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- German Language is a must. English Language professional level.
