Job Title: Legal Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Manager to join our team at Coproduction Office in Berlin. As a Legal Manager, you will be responsible for providing legal support to our sales and production teams, ensuring that all legal aspects of our film productions are handled efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide legal advice and support to our sales and production teams on all aspects of film production, including contracts, agreements, and licensing.
  • Review and negotiate contracts and agreements with producers, distributors, and other industry professionals.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of all legal documents and agreements.
  • Collaborate with our finance team to ensure that all financial transactions are properly documented and compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in law and intellectual property or further education in law.
  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience in a legal department of a production or sales company.
  • Fluent in English and either German or French.
  • Italian is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of international audiovisual law and regulations.
  • Perfectionist with high attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
  • Precise, proficient with Excel, and flexible.
  • Strong communication skills to work with people of various nationalities.
