As a Chemist (m/f/d) - Flavor Analytics, you will be responsible for performing instrumental analysis (gas chromatography/mass spectrometry, HPLC) as part of flavor development for raw materials, finished products, and customer samples.
You will provide advisory and support to the flavorists in the development of new flavors, manage and maintain analytical data, and optimize this data for use in our digital systems and for the development of new digital tools.
You will contribute ideas for the innovative digitalization of the analytical workflow, ensure optimal information exchange within the department and with all relevant interfaces, and optimize processes and organizational structures.
You will implement internal and legal specifications and guidelines regarding hygiene, HACCP, food safety, operational safety, and environmental protection.
Your Profile:
- You have successfully completed a degree in Analytical Chemistry, Food Chemistry, or a comparable field of study.
- You have gained experience with gas chromatography/mass spectrometry and Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
- You are enthusiastic about working with data and IT systems.
- You have a high level of customer orientation and good time management.
- You have initial experience with SAP.
- Your work language is English, German is a plus.
