Become a vital member of our software architecture team, working alongside agile feature teams to create cutting-edge functionalities for BMW drivers. As part of the project team focused on the next-generation integration platform, you will influence and refine the software architecture that supports driver control and autonomous driving in future BMW models.
Your Responsibilities:
- Act as a dedicated C/C++ developer, concentrating on crafting efficient software architectures for our high-performance POSIX Software Platform.
- Ensure that platform performance aligns with customer expectations regarding functionality and integration, including aspects like resource management and lifecycle.
- Collaborate in an international, multidisciplinary setting and interact with leading industry partners.
- Utilize the resources available at our Autonomous Driving Campus for effective software development.
Your Qualifications:
- A degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in embedded software development.
- In-depth knowledge of contemporary C++ standards.
- Familiarity with Adaptive Autosar.
- Experience with POSIX-based operating systems, particularly Linux and QNX.
- Basic understanding of POSIX scheduling mechanisms.
- Experience with agile development practices such as Kanban.
- Fluency in both English and German.
