Senior Project Manager

The EPM Scientific team is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer to manage and oversee test and certification projects within the field of functional safety for industrial machinery. This role involves estimating project efforts, executing tasks, and reviewing the accuracy of project documentation. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with applicable safety standards and regulations while maintaining a high standard of project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute test and certification projects using relevant standards and regulations, either at the company's facilities or client sites.
- Estimate project efforts and provide sales support for quotation requests.
- Coordinate project schedules in collaboration with the Business Support Center.
- Organize and complete assigned projects within the established timeline.
- Document all tasks and project activities.
- Review and validate the work of other project engineers as assigned.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Expert knowledge of safety and functional safety standards, including EU Machinery Directive, EN60204, NFPA79, UL2011, CSA C22.2 No. 286, ISO 13849, and IEC.
- Experience with FS Software SISTEMA.
- Familiarity with the company's service portfolio and Quality Management System.
- Fluent in written and spoken English; proficiency in German is a plus.
- University degree with 5+ years of relevant experience or 8+ years of related work experience.
- Strong analytical, creative, and technical project management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to develop and present value propositions to various audiences.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and manage multiple objectives simultaneously.
