Position Overview

Strategic Planning & Stakeholder Service Officer (m/f/div)

Employment Type: Full-time (38.5 hours per week)
Location: FLOCERT GmbH Headquarters
Compensation: Based on qualifications and experience

Role Summary

FLOCERT seeks a detail-oriented and service-driven Strategic Planning & Stakeholder Service Officer to enhance the Stakeholder Service Unit and the Operations Department.

In this role, you will focus on:

1. Supporting operational functions within the Operations Department (70%) and
2. Managing the Stakeholder Service Desk (30%).

Your contributions will ensure the integrity of operational and certification-related data, assist internal operations, and serve as the primary contact for designated stakeholders regarding operational and certification inquiries. A commitment to stakeholder support, meticulous attention to detail, eagerness to learn, and a collaborative mindset are essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain the quality of Fairtrade certification data
  • Assist in gathering information for the operations department budget
  • Support operational activities, including capacity planning and corrective actions post-internal audits
  • Facilitate data governance and assist with data request processes
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including national Fairtrade organizations and producer networks
  • Ensure effective and service-oriented communication between stakeholders and various departments within FLOCERT
  • Continuously enhance FLOCERT's services for stakeholders
  • Engage with stakeholders at meetings and international events

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • University degree (B.A. or equivalent) in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Economics, Environmental Science)
  • At least 3 years of experience in managing relationships with international stakeholders
  • Experience in customer relationship management is a plus
  • Familiarity with the Fairtrade International movement is advantageous
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data management
  • High proficiency in relevant tools and software (e.g., Power BI, MS Office)
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
  • Additional language skills in Spanish, German, French, Italian, or Dutch are beneficial
  • Detail-oriented and reliable work ethic
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities
  • Effective communication skills with a focus on customer service
  • Ability to work independently and manage pressure from diverse stakeholders
  • Interest in Fairtrade and sustainability issues
