Exciting Career Opportunity for a Skilled Buyer
Are you a seasoned procurement professional eager to elevate your career within a global purchasing team? This position is tailored for you. As an indirect procurement specialist, your primary responsibility will be to oversee strategic sourcing initiatives and address category-specific indirect expenditure requirements within the Europe and Central Asia Business Unit efficiently and effectively. The role also entails delivering and executing procurement strategies at optimal costs, proposing cost-reduction measures, and ensuring alignment with divisional standards.
Your Key Responsibilities Include:
- Oversee vendor management by evaluating vendor proposals, negotiating agreements, and ensuring compliance with procurement protocols.
- Perform market research to acquire insights into supplier landscapes and emerging trends.
- Maintain and expand the supplier network, identify and onboard new suppliers, and guarantee timely provision of goods and services.
- Lead continuous enhancements in operational workflows and spearhead procurement initiatives.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand and fulfill business requirements.
Your Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
- Proficient negotiation and contract management capabilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Solid understanding of market analysis and cost-saving methodologies.
- Ability to operate independently and make informed decisions.
- Effective communication skills in both German and English.
- Familiarity with procurement processes and best practices in vendor management.
- Experience utilizing procurement software tools.
