About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Indirect Procurement Specialist to join our international procurement team at Trouw Nutrition. As an Indirect Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating strategic procurement activities and fulfilling category-oriented indirect spend needs in a cost-effective and timely manner within our Business Unit Europe and Central Asia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vendor Management: Analyze vendor proposals, negotiate contracts, and provide according to our procurement guidelines.
  • Market Scanning: Conduct market scanning to gain insights into supplier markets and new market developments, resulting in detailed recommendations to management.
  • Supplier Network Management: Maintain your own supplier network, identify and develop new suppliers, and ensure needed goods and services are delivered in time with the right quality.
  • Operational Process Development: Drive continuous development of operative processes and participate in and lead procurement-related projects.
  • Stakeholder and Business Requirement Management: Actively manage stakeholders and business requirements.

What You Bring:

  • 3-5 years of proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good understanding of market analysis and cost-saving strategies.
  • Ability to work autonomously and make independent decisions.
  • Professional communication skills (oral and written) in German and English.
  • Knowledge of purchasing processes and vendor management best practices.
  • Experience in procurement-related software tools.
