Senior Expat Payroll Specialist – Remote Role

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Expat Payroll Specialist to join our Global HR Department. As a key member of the payroll team, you will be responsible for processing global pay slips, taxes, social security, and other wage-related issues.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Ensure accurate and timely processing of German payroll, including coordination of global payroll for expatriates via external payroll providers.

* Transfer fixed payroll data accurately and timely to regional payroll platform.

* Enter variable pay data into the SAP Payroll System.

* Manage expatriate payments for international assignees for assigned countries.

* Perform Ad Hoc reporting of payroll data.

* Establish and maintain employee payroll records.

* Respond to inquiries for the payrolls of assigned countries.

* Participate in payroll-related work process improvement initiatives.

* Document all outside the system work practices and operating guidelines for assigned payrolls.

* Develop best practices within the scope of payroll processing.

* Perform payroll control reconciliations.

* Stay current on payroll practices and regulations for assigned countries in collaboration with external providers.

* Develop relationships with providers and Country HR Managers to ensure smooth flow of payroll-related information.

* Remit payments to tax and social insurance authorities and benefits providers; calculate tax gross ups for special payments.

* Fund payroll bank accounts.

**Requirements:**

* Several years of experience in payroll or payroll accounting.

* Experience in payroll administration using SAP is ideal.

* Experience in expatriate payroll is an advantage.

* German and English language skills are essential.
