About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Business Leader to join our team at Dörken. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for driving the growth and success of our Hungarian subsidiary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a local business strategy aligned with our international goals and objectives.
  • Lead and manage a high-performing team to achieve sales, service, and financial targets.
  • Coordinate activities to optimize budget, market potential, and targets, including sustainability, cost efficiency, and profit margin improvement.
  • Provide strategic advice to our Head of Commercial Eastern Europe and contribute to the further development of our organization, strategy, and processes.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in managing and developing a sales-oriented company or a nationwide sales team in a technical or building material related environment.
  • Proven experience in defining and implementing strategies that adapt to market and customer evolution.
  • Business development experience in technical markets, ideally building materials, with a strong understanding of value propositions and sales management tools.
  • Strong leadership skills, with a visionary and inclusive approach.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good knowledge of German and/or English (at least B1).
