As a sales-oriented Managing Director, you will have full responsibility for the subsidiary DÖRKEN Hungary with an annual turnover of 3.5 million euros and eight employees. In this role, you will report directly to the Head of Commercial Eastern Europe.
Your mission:
Derive the local strategy from the international strategy and ensure its implementation incl. reporting on deviations and taking appropriate measuresResponsibility for the performance and development of the company and leading the team to achieve the targets in terms of profitable growth, customer satisfaction and meeting the assigned sales, service and financial targetsCoordination of activities taking into account the annual budget, market potential and targets: Sustainability, cost efficiency, optimization of structural costs as well as profit margin improvementResponsibility for the development of a high performing team reflecting the DÖRKEN philosophy of high quality, innovation and solution orientationProviding strategic advice to the Head of Commercial Eastern Europe by actively participating in the further development of the organization, strategy and harmonization of processes
What we expect from you:
At least 5 years of experience in managing and developing a sales-oriented company (ideally with international matrix organization) or a nationwide sales team in a technical or building material related environment with proven experience in defining and implementing strategies that need to adapt to the evolution of markets/customersBusiness development experience in technical markets (ideally building materials) where value propositions need to be developed and promoted or in companies with automation and industrial production to participate in the trend from conventional to modular construction, ideally understanding of the prefabrication businessVisionary with an appreciative and inclusive leadership styleUnderstanding of the local needs of a company in interaction with standards within the groupExperience with relevant sales / business management tools (e.g. CRM, ERP, PIM) and ideally with the implementation of such systemsDegree in economics or engineering or a comparable qualificationIndependent, goal- and result-oriented way of working with a good sense for opportunities and risksTravel of at least 50% and regular presence in the office in Hungary is expected, ideally living in the region of the officeGood knowledge of German and/or English (at least B1)
