The Business Analyst role focuses on enhancing our Data Management and Analytics capabilities. This team is pivotal in managing our Data Warehouse, developing reporting tools, and creating advanced solutions using Machine Learning, AI, and GenAI technologies. We are dedicated to assisting our colleagues with insightful data analysis and innovative problem-solving strategies. Our technology stack includes PostgreSQL for database management and IBM Cognos Analytics for business intelligence reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and oversee the Data Warehouse architecture
- Develop and refine ETL processes for data integration
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver data-driven insights
- Participate in the full lifecycle of BI solution implementation
- Keep abreast of technological advancements and contribute to the strategic vision of Data Management
Qualifications:
- A strong enthusiasm for merging business needs with IT solutions
- Proficient SQL skills and familiarity with relational database systems
- Basic understanding of Data Warehouse concepts and ETL methodologies
- Experience with Business Intelligence tools, ideally IBM Cognos Analytics
- Adept in agile methodologies and project execution
- Experience in the reinsurance sector is advantageous
- Fluency in both German and English is required
