POSITION OVERVIEW

The role entails overseeing and managing the Application Engineering and System Engineering teams. You will enhance production engineering capabilities and provide essential engineering support for system manufacturing and project management initiatives, utilizing standardized technical solutions in collaboration with Research and Development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead and manage the Engineering team effectively.
  • Make informed design decisions for systems and devices, referencing standards and calculations in partnership with R&D.
  • Compile parts lists and bills of materials.
  • Identify and submit requests for necessary materials.
  • Create manufacturing drawings.
  • Generate technical or engineering design support documentation for project management and inter-departmental collaboration.
  • Offer engineering support to project management, manufacturing, and field application engineers.
  • Provide additional engineering assistance as required.
  • Support Research and Development activities.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Previous management or supervisory experience is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, 3D SolidEdge, ProPanel, etc.
  • Experience with uninterruptible power equipment applications is beneficial.
  • Background in uninterruptible power equipment or industrial switchgear manufacturing is a plus.
  • Familiarity with relevant European Directives and International Standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both German and English.
