System Architect for Battery Systems

We are seeking a highly skilled System Architect for Battery Systems to join our team at Viessmann Climate Solutions. As a key member of our dedicated team, you will be responsible for the architecture and derivation of system requirements for new battery & PV products, as well as supporting the maintenance of existing products.
Your Key Responsibilities- Technical lead in system development projects for battery storage & PV systems
- Development of system architectures considering internal and external requirements, creation of hard-/software concepts, identification of development potential and taking care of related documentation
- Provide know-how to support other departments or teams accompanying battery systems in the market (e.g. Technical Service, Training modules)
- Identification and coordination of work packages with internal departments and/or external partners (e.g. research institutes, suppliers, etc.)
- Tracking of cost figures of components and subsystems with purchasing, cost optimization of systems
- Support in planning, organization and documentation of certification process of new products and also re-certification for existing products
- PhD or master's degree in electrical engineering, energy management systems or similar qualification
- Expert knowledge and proven experience in development of electrical energy storage systems technology including coupling with PV systems, integrated batteries, charging systems, inverter technology and/or e-mobility
- Applied knowledge in life cycle management and familiar with tools such as Siemens Polarion or Atlassian Jira
- Language proficiency (C1 level) in English and in German (B2 level)
