Job Title: Senior Backend Software Engineer

About the Role:

Annapurna is seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-based B2B SaaS applications using the NestJS framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop cloud-based B2B SaaS applications using the NestJS framework and JavaScript.
  • Shape technical specifications based on business requirements and discussions.
  • Support the use and implementation of agile tools and methodologies.
  • Continuously identify and reduce technical debt while balancing new feature developments.
  • Develop and maintain web applications using the NestJS framework, including writing clean, scalable, and efficient code with best practices.
  • Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.
  • Develop all server-side logic, including data storage to optimize website performance.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs (including OpenAPI).

Requirements:

  • 5 years or more of software development experience.
  • Fluent in HTTP and REST APIs.
  • Agile software development experience.
  • Experience in building applications written using the NestJS framework using JavaScript and TypeScript.
  • Experienced with building cloud-native applications.
  • Passionate about high-quality applications and software development.
  • Strong interest in technology and keeping up with the trends and best practices for modern development approaches.
  • Experienced in working with agile methodologies in a quickly changing environment.
  • Understand DevOps as culture not as a role.
  • Pragmatic and willing to try new approaches looking for the best way to get the right results.
  • Excellent communication skills and understand key drivers behind main architectural decisions.
  • Fluent in English.
