Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, resilient, and secure backend services.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement scalable, resilient, and secure backend services using modern technologies and programming languages.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and UI/UX, to deliver customer value and meet business objectives.
- Turn complex and fuzzy requirements into working software solutions, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to industry best practices.
- Ship code daily or more frequently, working in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Take ownership of a whole microservice and lead technical topics, mentoring other team members and supporting their growth.
- Build state-of-the-art and high-quality SaaS products, continuously learning and staying up-to-date with industry trends and technologies.
- Extensive hands-on experience with TypeScript and preferably in a SaaS environment.
- Strong relational database experience, including ACID, query optimization, and scaling techniques.
- Familiarity with up-to-date software development tools and industry best practices is highly desirable.
- Open communication style and fluent written and spoken English skills are required.
- Ability to work in Java and/or Python would be a plus.
- Experience in frontend development using component-oriented frameworks, such as Angular.
