Job Overview

We are seeking a Product Development Specialist to join our dynamic team at tesa SE. This is a permanent position that offers a part-time opportunity, allowing you to contribute to innovative projects while maintaining a balanced work-life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively drive initiatives and develop customized products, materials, processes, or technology modules within the scope of feasibility studies and projects, often collaborating closely with suppliers.
  • Manage intricate product development projects in partnership with clients, ensuring alignment with their needs and expectations.
  • Prepare proposals for Technical Verifications (TVs) and Product Verifications (PVs), while monitoring and assessing outcomes, including assisting with the transition to production.
  • Support the patent expertise team by providing insights and analysis.
  • Utilize statistical tools for test planning, data analysis, and optimization (Design of Experiments - DoE).
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A university diploma or master's degree in natural sciences or engineering, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience, or a doctorate with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Extensive experience in handling patents and utility models, including Freedom to Operate (FTO) analyses (reading, interpreting, and evaluating patent applications).
  • Proven track record in managing complex projects and engaging with diverse stakeholders, including effective conflict resolution across various hierarchical levels.
  • Strong presentation skills, adaptable to international contexts.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in German is an advantage.
