Internship in Venture Capital Analysis

Freigeist Capital is seeking a motivated intern for the role of Venture Capital Analyst / Venture Developer (m/f/d) for a duration of 3 to 6 months.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in the investment decision-making process alongside investment managers.
  • Conduct market and competitive analyses and assist in the preliminary evaluation of business proposals.
  • Engage in discussions with entrepreneurs and industry experts.
  • Provide support to portfolio companies in various capacities: financial planning, marketing strategies, sales initiatives, human resources, etc.
  • Oversee investment performance: develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for our portfolio companies.
Qualifications
  • Completion of at least four semesters in a business-related or engineering degree program with outstanding academic performance from a reputable university or business school.
  • Relevant experience, ideally within a startup environment or in fields such as venture capital, private equity, management consulting, or technology.
  • Strong enthusiasm for future technologies and the startup ecosystem.
  • Detail-oriented, responsible, and capable of independent work, with quick learning abilities, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.
