Corning Laser Technologies GmbH, a subsidiary of Corning Inc., is at the forefront of high-precision laser innovations. Our patented nanoPerforations technology enhances the interaction between laser and glass, allowing for advanced processing of various glass types, including Corning Gorilla Glass. We specialize in developing and manufacturing laser cutting systems that achieve low surface roughness, increased flexural strength, and high throughput.

Position: Global Project Coordinator (m/f/d)

In this role, you will engage in a diverse and challenging range of responsibilities.

Your tasks will include:

  • Leading and managing global projects from requirements analysis to customer acceptance
  • Maintaining direct communication with customers and sales partners internationally
  • Coordinating collaboration among all project-related departments
  • Developing effective problem-solving strategies within the project team
  • Making decisions on complex technical and commercial issues
  • Overseeing project, budget, and schedule planning, as well as project controlling and tracking

Your qualifications:

  • Completed degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent
  • Several years of relevant experience in project management, preferably in machinery and/or plant construction, as well as laser technology/optics
  • Strong knowledge of project management strategies and methods
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Willingness to travel internationally
  • Friendly and confident demeanor
  • Detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of quality
  • Team player with excellent communication and organizational skills
