We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Quality Manager to join our team at HE Space Operations GmbH. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our suppliers' products and processes.
Key Responsibilities- Quality Discipline Management
- Organize and implement quality disciplines according to contractual requirements for suppliers.
- Ensure the consistency, completeness, and availability of results from quality disciplines in accordance with project plans.
- Supplier Quality Management
- Control the quality of suppliers' products by delivering applicable requirements, ensuring implementation of quality requirements, and approving product acceptance during acceptance or delivery tests.
- Non-Conformity Handling
- Handle non-conformities within the framework of the nonconformance review board and complaints about externally supplied products or processes.
- Collaboration and Communication
- Closely cooperate with internal production areas, including Quality Indicators, Automatic Identification Technique, mechanical production, cold test center, cleaning, and incoming goods, to support the SQCDP process.
- Ensure implementation of configuration and documentation management on the supplier side.
- Approve new suppliers based on quality requirements.
- Monitor and approve orders with regard to quality requirements.
- Define incoming inspection plans depending on part criticality, supplier performance, and cost targets.
- Special Process Management
- Support suppliers in Special Process Management in cooperation with the Process Officer.
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in Supplier management and Quality management.
- Knowledge of SAP, SAP/MM-PP, and PLM-Teamcenter.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of German and French is an advantage.
