PhD Researcher in Quantitative Spatial Cancer Biology

We are seeking a highly motivated PhD student to join our research group at the Dr. Senckenberg Institute of Pathology MSNZ Frankfurt, an excellence program supporting careers in Translational Cancer Research.
About the ProjectThe project focuses on understanding tissue organization in health and cancer, using cutting-edge single-cell protein profiling technologies, including multiplexed tissue imaging, multicolor flow cytometry, and mass cytometry.
Your Role- Contribute to the development of novel therapeutic strategies to decelerate outgrowth of mutated hematopoietic clones.
- Collaborate with the research team to design and implement experiments using established animal models and patient cohorts.
- Apply advanced single-cell quantitative biology techniques to uncover the underlying mechanisms of clonal hematopoiesis.
- Master's degree in Life Sciences or equivalent.
- Basic experience in laboratory techniques, including molecular biology.
- Background in immunofluorescence microscopy and hematopoiesis is a plus.
- Passion for discovery, collaborative spirit, and good communication skills.
- Good knowledge of spoken and written English.
