Job Overview

As a key player within the Asset Management division, you will be responsible for the continuous evaluation and endorsement of financial information and operations as part of the Portfolio Management Team. Your role will ensure the precision of accounting data and the prompt reporting of multiple assets in a cashflow-rich environment. The ideal candidate is meticulous and exceptionally organized, possessing experience in the asset management sector, and is adept at handling intricate data while ensuring compliance and supporting financial strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Verification of financial information from various cashflow sources
  • Maintain the integrity and accuracy of data gathered and structured by accounting and collection teams within ERP financial systems and databases
  • Examine financial reports in accordance with German GAAP, ensuring precision and adherence to applicable regulations
  • Oversee and manage loans, ensuring compliance with all covenants, payments, and reporting to lenders and stakeholders
  • Guarantee adherence to loan agreements while identifying potential risks
  • Communicate financial outcomes and analyses to senior management and stakeholders
  • Develop and uphold internal controls to protect assets, ensuring the integrity of financial reporting
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies
  • Conduct regular audits and evaluations to identify and mitigate financial risks

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA designation preferred
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting roles, ideally with a focus on cashflow-intensive asset management sectors (such as real estate or infrastructure)
  • Familiarity with financial reporting based on German GAAP and relevant regulations
  • Experience in managing complex financial data, loans, and covenants
  • Fluency in both German and English
