Media Relations Internship at Flughafen München GmbH

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as an intern in the Media Relations department at Flughafen München GmbH. If you have a passion for the aviation industry and wish to explore the multifaceted operations of an international airport, this internship is an excellent opportunity for you.

Throughout this internship, you will acquire valuable experience in public relations activities, including the research and composition of press releases, as well as managing relationships with journalists. You will also gain a comprehensive understanding of the workflows at a major international airport.

This internship can be undertaken as a compulsory or voluntary component of your academic studies, with a preferred duration of at least three months. There is also the potential for continued employment as a working student if desired.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Updating and maintaining media contact databases
  • Collaborating on multi-channel content development for media outreach
  • Assisting in the organization of media-related events
  • Exploring additional communication platforms such as social media and intranet
  • Providing support to journalists visiting the airport

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant field such as Journalism, Communication, or a related area
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient in German and possess good English language skills
  • Organized and methodical work style
  • Prior experience in media is advantageous
  • Genuine interest in journalism or public relations
  • Driver's license (Class B) is preferred
