Retail Sales Associate with Cash Handling Responsibilities

About the Job:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at REWE. As a Sales Associate with cash handling experience, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating the cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate the cash register accurately and efficiently, handling customer transactions and managing cash and credit transactions.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the cash handling area, to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers.
- Process customer transactions, including handling returns and exchanges, and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Work collaboratively with other sales associates and store staff to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a sales or customer service role, preferably in a retail environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail.
- Basic math skills and ability to handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends.
