About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Operations Specialist to join our team at Amazon Logistik Westfalenhuette GmbH - E74. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods and services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure and monitor workflows, track onsite performance, and identify areas for improvement in third-party logistics (3PL) operations.
  • Analyze data to optimize safety, quality, and productivity in 3PL environments.
  • Resolve operational problems in flows to/from external service providers.
  • Act as a point of contact for Amazon departments and external partners, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
A Day in the Life

You will have the opportunity to work on daily tasks related to 3PL performance and contribute to ad-hoc projects, new implementations, and process optimization initiatives. Effective communication and problem-solving skills are essential in this role, as you will work closely with Amazon teams and external partners to resolve issues and drive improvements.

About the Team

Amazon Extra Large (AMXL) is a specialized service that handles heavy items, including furniture and large home appliances. Our team manages the entire service, from supply chain fulfillment to delivery and returns, with a focus on customer care and safety. We are expanding our specialist fulfillment centers and delivery stations across the UK and Europe, and we are looking for talented individuals to join our team.

Requirements
  • Advanced proficiency in German (C1 CEFR) and excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Relevant experience working with data analytics and using metrics to identify problems.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in stakeholder management, including building and maintaining professional relationships.
  • Experience in an operational environment, such as logistics, retail, hospitality, or customer service.
  • Upper intermediate proficiency in English.
