Lead Project Developer - Onshore Wind Energy

Stadtwerke Bielefeld GmbH is seeking a Lead Project Developer with expertise in Onshore Wind Energy Acquisition to enhance their team. In this pivotal role within the renewable energy sector, you will be tasked with identifying potential wind sites and overseeing projects from initial concept through to successful execution, thereby facilitating the growth of sustainable energy solutions for the organization.

  • Assist in evaluating site suitability
  • Engage with landowners and relevant stakeholders
  • Develop wind farm layouts and financial projections
  • Transition completed projects to the execution team
  • Formulate strategies for effective project realization

Candidate Profile

A completed commercial education or a degree in a related discipline is required.

  • Proven experience in the wind energy sector
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Familiarity with planning and regulatory frameworks
  • Proactive approach with strong negotiation capabilities
  • Experience with planning software (e.g., GIS, windPRO)
