About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Fullstack Engineer to join our team at SAP. As a key member of our cloud-native engineering team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our cloud applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop new features for our cloud application, leveraging your expertise in NodeJS and React to drive innovation and push the boundaries of what's possible.
- Collaborate with our team to craft high-quality code, ensuring top-tier quality and security standards are met to safeguard our product's integrity.
- Participate in thorough threat modeling sessions to identify and address potential vulnerabilities, applying secure development best practices and methodologies throughout the development and deployment processes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cloud-native open-source tools and technologies, embracing a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Partner with our team to deliver robust and scalable solutions, working with various stakeholders, customers, and product managers across multiple locations.
Requirements
- Proven expertise in TypeScript with a solid foundation in JavaScript, enabling seamless development across the stack.
- Over 3 years of hands-on experience in NodeJS and/or React development, demonstrating a track record of delivering robust and scalable solutions.
- Knowledgeable in security frameworks, best practices, and secure operations principles, with a strong understanding of cloud-native infrastructure, including Kubernetes, Containerization, Service mesh, and Helm.
- Familiarity with GitOps and Infrastructure as Code principles, exemplified by experience with tools like Argo CD, facilitating streamlined and automated deployment processes.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with a collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in team environments.
- A passion for exploration and continuous learning, displaying enthusiasm for discovering novel concepts and technologies within the realm of cloud-native engineering, distributed systems, CI/CD, and DevOps.
