Sales Operations Working Student

Overview of the Position

We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic individual to join our Global Sales Operations team as a working student. This role involves contributing to various facets of the sales process, including data management, report generation, forecasting, inventory analysis, and customer profiling. As a working student, you will play a vital role in enhancing the efficiency of reporting, forecasting, and other Sales & Marketing initiatives while collaborating with a global team.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Data Management:

  • Assist in gathering, consolidating, and analyzing sales data from multiple sources.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of sales databases and systems through regular updates.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Create routine and on-demand reports reflecting sales performance, trends, and forecasts.
  • Examine sales metrics to uncover patterns, anomalies, and opportunities for enhancement.
  • Aid in the preparation of sales presentations and dashboards for management evaluations.

Process Optimization:

  • Engage in identifying and executing process improvement strategies within sales operations.
  • Document and standardize sales workflows and procedures.

Support for Sales Team:

  • Provide administrative assistance to the sales team.
  • Facilitate communication among sales, marketing, and other pertinent departments.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree, ideally in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
  • Attention to detail and robust organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Spotfire or Power BI) is advantageous.
  • Basic understanding of sales processes and operations.
