The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Manager to join our team in Frankfurt. As a Legal Manager, you will be responsible for providing legal support and guidance to our fund management teams, ensuring that all legal requirements are met and that our clients receive the best possible service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide legal support and guidance to fund management teams on all aspects of fund-related and KVG-related legal issues.
  • Coordinate and manage the preparation of all legal documents related to fund projects, including sales prospectuses, PRIIP KIDs, and investor publications.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including ESG-related topics.
  • Manage and negotiate contracts related to fund and company operations.
  • Update and expand data in the transparency register.
  • Coordinate KYC requests and support relevant departments.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects, both locally and internationally.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues from Groupe La Française in Paris.

Requirements

  • University degree in law or comparable experience and skills.
  • 2-5 years of professional experience in a similar role, preferably in asset management or law.
  • Fluency in English and German (spoken and written) is essential, French is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of German asset management and capital markets law, as well as basic knowledge of German corporate law.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and diagnose complex legal issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and good decision-making skills.
