About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our international energy operations and drive our mission to enable customers to live on wind and sunlight forever for free.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead international energy markets and oversee our activities across diverse energy markets, ensuring competitive positioning and growth in each region
  • Direct and manage energy operations teams in markets where we function as an energy supplier, ensuring efficient, safe, and compliant operations while driving continuous improvement and innovation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align our energy market strategies with overall business goals, leveraging market insights to drive decision-making and strategy development
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with energy partners, including suppliers, regulators, and other stakeholders, to enhance collaboration and achieve strategic objectives
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics to identify opportunities and mitigate risks in our energy operations
  • Build and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation within the energy operations division
  • Identify potential risks in energy operations and develop robust strategies to mitigate them, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
About You

You will have:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in international energy markets, with a proven track record of success in operational and strategic leadership roles
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams across multiple geographies and functional areas, with a hands-on approach and strong operational focus
  • Strategic Mindset: Ability to think strategically while managing the tactical details of energy operations, balancing short-term needs with long-term objectives
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English and German, with the ability to influence and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly assess situations and make informed decisions
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and driving positive change
  • Communication: Effective communication skills in English, German is a plus
