Your Role: Project Director - Biopharma Construction
We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Director to lead complex construction projects within the biopharma and life science sector. You'll play a pivotal role in delivering world-class facilities that advance scientific breakthroughs and improve global health.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee all aspects of project performance, including Environment, Health & Safety (EHS), financial management, schedule adherence, and quality control for large Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between Exyte's corporate management and the project team, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders to foster a positive and productive project environment.
- Monitor project risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project completion.
- Champion Exyte's corporate procedures, standards, and guidelines across all project disciplines, including Project Management, Engineering & Design, Commercial, and Construction Management.
- Lead and inspire the project team, providing guidance, motivation, and a clear vision for success.
- Master's degree in Engineering or a related field preferred.
- Extensive experience in EPC project management within the biopharma or life science industries.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in both German and English.
- In-depth knowledge of project execution and coordination processes.
- Strong technical understanding of Civil Structural Architecture (CSA) and Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems.
- PMI certification is a valuable asset.
