Chemical Assay Development Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing and developing dry chemical assays
  • Planning and executing intricate testing programs for evaluation and system advancement
  • Documenting and analyzing experimental procedures and outcomes in detailed reports
  • Summarizing experimental findings for presentations or documentation as necessary
  • Creating detailed specification documents, including manufacturing instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Engaging in the systematic assessment of materials, formulations, and structures for dry chemical assays, along with the systematic development of system interdependencies for dry chemical testing systems
Required Qualifications:
  • Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, or a related discipline
  • Hands-on laboratory experience and proficiency in conducting and assessing assay performance evaluations
  • Expertise in statistical analysis software such as Jump or Minitab
  • Effective communication skills in both German and English for collaborative project work
  • A team-oriented mindset with a flexible and dependable work ethic
