About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP ABAP Developer to join our team at Panasonic Automotive Systems Europe. As a key member of our development team, you will play a crucial role in driving business innovation and delivering high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement SAP ABAP development changes in our existing SAP systems
  • Support the migration from SAP R3 to SAP S/4, ensuring seamless system integration
  • Develop and maintain interfaces, including OData, RFC, and IDOC, to ensure efficient data exchange
  • Estimate development efforts for packages, ensuring timely project delivery
  • Create developer documentation and guidelines, ensuring quality assurance of developments
  • Analyze and correct program errors, conducting thorough testing to ensure release procedure compliance
  • Support the administration and maintenance of development, test, and production environments

Requirements

  • University or technical college degree in computer science or equivalent knowledge and qualifications through relevant professional experience and IT training
  • Deep knowledge and experience in SAP ABAP-OO development, with expertise in ABAP programming models introduced with S/4 HANA for FIORI/RAP, CDS views, and ODATA
  • Strong understanding of the ABAP Dictionary and SAP update technologies, with prior knowledge in SAP PDF forms (Adobe Forms) and UI5 (FIORI Apps)
  • Proficiency in using the ECLIPSE development environment
  • Knowledge of SAP modules such as SD, MM, FI, CO, and SAP workflow
  • Excellent analytical and conceptual skills, with the ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Strong written and spoken German and English skills
