We are looking for a candidate to work in a dynamic environment.
- As an ABAP engineer, you will be responsible for the design, drafting, and specification of ABAP development modifications and their subsequent implementation in existing SAP systems.
- You will assist in the transition from SAP R3 to SAP S/4.
- Your role will involve developing interfaces (OData/RFC/IDOC), designing and implementing dialog (Fiori/RAP) and workflow applications.
- One of your responsibilities will be to estimate the effort required for development packages.
- You will create developer documentation and guidelines, ensuring quality assurance for the developments.
- Your tasks will also include analyzing program errors and their rectification, as well as conducting program function tests for the overall release procedure.
- You will support the administration and maintenance of development, testing, and production environments.
- You possess a university or technical college degree in computer science or have acquired equivalent knowledge and qualifications through relevant professional experience and IT training.
- You have extensive knowledge and proven experience in SAP ABAP-OO development, ideally with a solid understanding of the ABAP programming models introduced with S/4 HANA for FIORI/RAP, CDS views, and ODATA.
- You are well-versed in the ABAP Dictionary and SAP update technologies, with prior experience in SAP PDF forms (Adobe Forms) and UI5 (FIORI Apps), and are proficient in using the ECLIPSE development environment.
- You have a good understanding of SAP modules such as SD, MM, FI, CO, and knowledge of SAP workflow.
- You approach tasks analytically and conceptually, demonstrating initiative and a keen interest in independently and systematically familiarizing yourself with new responsibilities, systems, and tools.
- You possess a hands-on mentality and are dedicated to continuous improvement.
- You have strong written and spoken skills in both German and English.
